A little bit of News

The months have been flying by, it's hard to believe that this year is almost over. We have had the wirl and frenzy of birthday parties, an addition to the family. We are blessed to have such a wonderful family and so many wonderful people around us.

In October Alerick's school had their yearly concert, the theme this year was "Down Memory Lane" music from the 60's to date. Alerick's class had the 90's as a theme, and danced along to "Barbie Girl " - yes you all remember that song. It was cute and Alerick loves dancing, he was one of the few in his class jumping around to the song :)

With us living on a plot, we aren't zoned for the school we wanted to send Kayla to, si we had to make sure we filled in all the forms and were at the primary school early enough on the 1st day of the 3rd term to make sure that Kayla's name was as high up on the "B" list as possible. Reinhardt was at the school at 5:30am and we got the B2 spot. We would only find out toward the end of October if she had been accepted or not. The 20th rolled around slowly and it was a long stress full week leading up to the news. We found out that they weren't taking anyone from the B list at all for next year, we were filled with so many emotions, but the reality was we now had 5 weeks to find a school for her for next year. After phoning around, it was clear that all the schools were full. On the monday morning we heard that there had been cancellations and she had been accepted into the school. What a relief. We are smiling now!!

There are still lots of things happening before the end of the year, Reinhardt's birthday is just around the corner, Kayla's graduation coming up on 27th November as well as her Drama School's concert on the 29th, and obviously when december hits, there will be a lot more happening, so there'll be more news and photo's soon.
