A Small Update

I know I haven't updated the site in awhile, so here is a quick catch up as to what has been happening with us.

On Sunday 19 Oct, we were held up at home at gun point. The shortened version: 4 men came into our house tied us up (Reinhardt, myself, my mother and father in law in our house and Ouma was tied up in their house.) and cleaned us out. It was a very scary thing, the longest 3 hours of our lives. Our lives will never be the same again. But we have to move forward and keep living. We definitely had a VERY big guardian angel watching over us that night. And for that we are very thankful. We are all closer and appreciate each other more.

Kayla, Is getting so big so quickly. We have got her into Welties Pre-Primary for Grade 0 next year. She is so excited to go to BIG school. We got her suitcase, t-shirts, cap and lunch box. Everytime you look she has her new school clothes on and wants to know how many more sleeps til she goes to BIG school.

Alerick started walking, which was a big deal in itself. He looks so cute, and each day he gets better at it. Sometimes, he does try to break into a run, and soon figures out - when he lands on his stomach - that he can't do that yet.

Other than that we don't have much to tell. We enjoy our time with each other and with the kids and the rest of the family. Many many memories are made every single day. And our love for one another grows deeper.
