Lunar Eclipse

The Total Eclipse of the Moon, started at 20:22pm, was total from 21:21- 11:02pm, ended at 00:02am. Was visible from all of Africa, (north-west Africa missed the start). No special equipment was needed to watch this. At the start of the eclipse the Moon started moving into the shadow of the Earth (at 8:22pm). The next total lunar eclipse will be in Sept 2015 03:00.

A Scary Sunday

Sundays are normally for relaxing and family time. Normally the sound of fire, is warming and comforting, but there is nothing scarier than the sound of a fire "running" especially when it is coming from all sides, and you are in the middle of it.Reinhardt was trying to put the closest fire out first when the wind changed and suddenly he found himself in the middle of a very dangerous situation. He quickly climbed on the tractor and got going watching the flames engulf the tractor tyres. The heat from the fire burnt his face and ear. Mom took him trough to the hospital to have it checked out. On a drip at the hospital he was sending me these pics:











All bandaged up and on his way home












He went for his check up on Monday morning and all is fine. There shouldn't be any scaring :) The healing process has begun :)
