Alerick has Chicken Pox

It's 2 weeks before the wedding and Alerick has chicken pox. A lot worse than Kayla had it. And he is not a happy camper at all. Keeping him from scratching has been a mission. Let's hope there isn't much scaring.

Emergency Room visit on a Sunday

We went through to the venue today to see how far the building was coming, and Alerick proceeds to drop a brick on his foot and split his toe open underneath. We put some weeping wound powder on and covered it with a plaster. When we looked at the toe a little later, we weren't too sure if he was going to need stiches, it looked really bad. So off we went to the emergency room and waited. Our little boy was very brave while they cleaned and inspected his toe. No stiches were needes, it was taped and bandaged up. The bandage wasn't white for long, but his toe has healed well.

Kayla has Chicken Pox

The night of Kayla's party she was complaining that the mozzie bites she had were really itchy.... On closer look, we discovered that her "mozzie bites" were in fact Chicken pox... needless to say it wasn't going to be fun. But she didn't hit out too badly and by the 3rd day she was scabbing already.
